Deputies identified Jorden Contrell Dukes, 19, of the 5200 block of Dogwood Drive in Aiken, from evidence at the scene. He faces burglary and grand larceny charges, according to Capt. Troy Elwell.

The burglary happened between 9 p.m. Sunday and 5 a.m. Monday, after the woman’s screen was removed and a window was pushed in. Dukes took the woman’s television, money, jewelry box and two bottles of Sprite, Elwell said.

Anyone with information about Dukes is asked to contact the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office at (800) 922-9709 or Crimestoppers of the Midlands at (888) CRIME-SC. Callers can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a cash reward of $50 to $1,000.
