Aiken school board changes meeting start time

The regularly scheduled Aiken County Board of Education meeting has been changed to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, a half-hour later than originally scheduled.

The change will allow school board members the opportunity to attend the State Superintendent of Education Mick Zais’ input session regarding the No Child Left Behind state waiver, which is scheduled for 6 p.m. Tuesday at Millbrook Elementary School, 255 E. Pine Log Road, Aiken, and is open to the public.

The school board meeting will be held at the district office, 1000 Brookhaven Drive, Aiken.
