The Grovetown community, Sterlington Apartments, will be located off East Robinson Avenue and Woodward Drive and will have 50 units. One-bedroom units will be 725 square feet, two-bedroom units will be 985 square feet, and two-bedroom flats will be 1,092 square feet. The development is estimated to cost $1.2 million.
The Aiken development will be called New London and will be behind the Aiken Target store, Walden said. New London will have 64 units, and ATC Development is in the building application process.
Augusta-based ATC Development manages apartment communities in the Augusta area, including Forest Hills Racquet Club on Walton Way, Alexander Place on Alexander Drive and Vintage Creek on North Leg Road.
