AIKEN -- Republican Gubernatorial candidate Nikki Haley continues her tour of businesses in Aiken on Thursday touting her job creating plan.

Rep. Haley, of Lexington, began her tour today in Columbia and Charleston, stating that she wants to eliminate corporate income taxes to boost jobs, according the Associated Press.

While the state’s unemployment rate in June was 10.7 percent, Aiken County boasted the lowest rate in the state at 7.9 percent.

Haley’s 1:30 p.m. visit will be held at Lionel Smith Limited at 132 Laurens Street Southwest in downtown Aiken.
