To the wonderful Paine College Steering Committee of the 1960s: Thank you all again so very much for all your hard work of literally years in helping to desegregate Augusta. You stood up for all of our rights and suffered through arrests, beatings, jailings and other harsh and illegal actions wrought upon you physically, mentally and emotionally.
