Woman, man wanted in connection to assault at Econo Lodge

The Aiken Department of Public Safety is seeking help to identify a man and find a woman wanted in connection with a Jan. 23 assault at an area hotel.

Lisa Marie Boatwright, 28, of Bath, is wanted for assault and battery in the first degree, two counts of armed robbery and kidnapping and possession of a firearm during the commission of a violent crime, an Aiken Department of Public Safety news release states.

Boatwright is accused of holding two people at gunpoint in a hotel room at the Econo Lodge on Richland Avenue during which she pistol whipped one of them and took their property, according to the news release.

Boatwright, along with an unidentified man , fled the scene in a dark-colored sedan believed to be a newer model Toyota Camry, the news release states.
