Second suspect wanted in connection with shooting at Aiken gas station in custody

The second of two suspects in a shooting at an Aiken gas station has been arrested, according to authorities.

 

Reihn Dracon Jennings, 27, of Aiken, was arrested Thursday night and charged with three counts of attempted murder, possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime and unlawful carrying of a pistol.

ATF Rage Task Force, ATF Greenville Field Office, South Carolina Law Enforcement Division and Greenville County Sheriff’s Office assisted with the arrest, according an Aiken Department of Public Safety news release.

Officers responded to the Horizons gas station at 12:53 p.m. on Jan. 9 in reference to a subject shooting at a vehicle in the parking lot at 502 York St., N.E.

The officers located several pieces of evidence in the parking lot. After speaking with witnesses, investigators determined two subjects fired multiple times at each other.

Leo Orlando Byrd, of Aiken, has also been charged with attempted murder, unlawful carrying of a pistol and possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime in connection with the Tuesday shooting.
