A North Augusta man has been arrested and charged for a variety of sexual acts he is accused of committing beginning in the 1990s.

Timothy Mark Rogers, 41, faces charges that include criminal sexual misconduct with a minor in the third degree, and attempted lewd acts with victims under the age of 16 in connection to the incidents, according to the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office.

More than 50 affidavits from the office allege that Rogers willfully committed a series of lewd and lascivious acts with minors, under the age of 16, from 1997 to 2015.

The majority of the incidents allege that Rogers committed sexual battery, according to the affidavit.

Others allege that Rogers used his fingers, and other items such as a toy syringe, to penetrate female victims, according to the affidavit.

He is currently in Lexington County Jail on hold for U.S. Marshals on federal charges, according to Aiken County Sheriff’s Office.
