Hephzibah woman seeks financial help this Christmas

Taking care of her three children and two from her sister has taken a financial toll on this Hephzibah woman.

She works day labor jobs but that doesn’t pay much. She also writes that her father died this year.

“I feel lost sometimes,” she says. “If you can help, it will be greatly appreciated.”

The Augusta Chronicle’s Empty Stocking Fund has helped make Christmas better for those who needed it for 86 years. The fund has helped people such as this since 1930.

Last year, the charity raised more than$100,000 for children and families across the region.
