The Aiken County Sheriff’s Office has identified a man wanted in connection to a shooting last week in Warrenville.
Anthony Mark White is a suspect in Thursday’s shooting incident on Pine Heights Road, the department said.
He is wanted for attempted murder, two counts of assault and battery in the first degree, four counts of kidnapping, discharging a firearm into a vehicle and commission of a violent crime, according to the sheriff’s office.
The incident occurred around 3:30 a.m. on Piney Heights Road. Deputies found a woman with an apparent gunshot wound to her left hip. The victim was taken to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries, the department said.
Witnesses told investigators that a white male approached the vehicle they were in and struck one passenger with a handgun on the arm and leg several times.
The man then fired his gun three times.
