A man who was injured in a fire two weeks ago in Augusta died on Wednesday evening.
Marvin Griffin, 74, was burned in a house fire on the morning of November 15. He was transported to the Joseph M. Still Burn Center at Doctors Hospital for treatment.
Griffin was pronounced dead at 7:21 p.m. Wednesday in the burn unit, according to Richmond County chief deputy coroner Kenneth Boose Sr. The cause of death was listed as multi-system organ failure.
His death remains under investigation by the Richmond County Coroner’s Office and the Augusta Fire Department.
