A homeless man who was killed after being struck by a vehicle along Deans Bridge Road on Monday night has been identified.
Nathan George Braddy, 60, was identified by the Richmond County Coroner’s Office on Tuesday morning as the pedestrianwho was struck by a Ford F-150 truck as he attempted to cross an intersection at Deans Bridge and Murphy roads.
He was transported to AU Medical Center, and he was pronounced dead at 7:33 p.m.
He died from multiple blunt force trauma, a news release from the Richmond County Coroner’s Office states. Alcohol is believed to be a contributing factor for the pedestrian, it states.
An autopsy will not be done.
