An Aiken man was taken into custody Tuesday on charges related to the exploitation of a minor.
The Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force worked with the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office on the arrest of Mark Allen Sanders, 69, of Aiken.
According to a news release from the South Carolina Attorney General’s office, Sanders was arrested on charges related to distribution and possession of files of child pornography.
Sanders is charged with 10 felony counts of second-degree sexual exploitation of a minor and 20 felony counts of third-degree exploitation of a minor. He faces up to 10 years imprisonment on each count.
The case will be prosecuted by the South Carolina Attorney General’s office.
