A woman who admitted to stealing from her employer will serve four years in prison.
Maralind Teresa Davis was sentenced in U.S. District Court on Nov. 2 for bank fraud and aggravated identify theft. Once she completes the federal prison term she will have five additional years to serve on supervised released. She must also repay her former employer $135,191 in restitution.
Davis worked as the bookkeeper for Fogel’s Fine Floors of Augusta from April 2008 to October 2015.
