Columbia County Sheriff’s Office looking to identify suspect in credit card fraud

The Columbia County Sheriff’s Office is seeking to identify a man in connection to credit card fraud.

A news release from the sheriff’s office states at 8 p.m. on Sept. 23, a man entered the Grovetown Walmart and used a cloned credit card to purchase miscellaneous items, including two iTunes cards worth $100 each. The suspect swiped another credit card before the victim’s was used, the news release states.

He then left the area in a dark colored sedan, according to the news release.
