Columbia County Sheriff’s Office looking for man in EBT card fraud

The Columbia County Sheriff’s Office is seeking to identify a man in connection to EBT card fraud.

A news release from the sheriff’s office states on Monday, Oct. 16, a man used a stolen EBT card at the Grovetown Wal-Mart.

The same man then used the stolen card at a Circle K convenience store at Wrightsboro Road and Horizon South Parkway, according to the news release. t

The Circle K store is within city limits of Grovetown, and the Grovetown Department of Public Safety has been assigned to investigate.
