During the two-day event, registered participants can assemble quilt blocks in support of local veterans and service member recipients of the Quilts of Valor Chapter. Registration is $25 for foundation members and $30 for non-members.

Each participant will be given their choice of a 10-quilt block kit (pre-cut), a t-shirt and pledge sheet to register time spent at the event, according to the news release . Additional kits will be available for suggested donations at the event.

All proceedswill benefit the Garden City Quilts of Valor group and their efforts “to wrap service members and veterans touched by war with comforting and healing Quilts of Valor,” the news release states.
