Sheriff’s office investigating reports of sexual assaults at haunted attraction Plantation Blood

A number of sexual assaults were reported last weekend at a haunted attraction in Augusta.

 

The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office is investigating after volunteers at the Plantation Blood attraction made complaints of sexual misconduct at the attraction on Saturday.

In a police report one of the victims, a 19-year-old from Grovetown, stated that an unknown white male rubbed his abdomen area as he attempted to scare him. He described the male to be around five to six feet, around 290 pounds, and was wearing a gray shirt at the time of the incident.

Another victim, a 20-year-old from Harlem, complained that an unknown suspect reached out and rubbed him from his neck to his groin.

A juvenile victim complained that as she attempted to scare the unknown subject he reached out with his right hand, touched her abdomen area and rubbed it, grazing the bottom of her bra. She described the suspect to be between 40 to 50 years old with a beard, and was wearing a tan hat, tan and yellow shirt and blue jean pants at the time of the incident.

Another juvenile reported that a white male, in his mid-40s to mid-50s, put his hands on her cheek and kissed her on the lips as she attempted to scare him through a hole in the wall.

She described the bearded suspect to be wearing an orange and red shirt with blue jeans at the time of the incident.

Investigations into the incidents are ongoing.
