Fence materials stolen from Josey High School

Chain link fence materials were stolen from Josey High School on Tuesday night.

On Wednesday morning, a project manager contacted the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office about a theft.

Workers placed 800 feet of chain link fencing on the ground on the north side of the school near Essie McIntyre Boulevard on Tuesday afternoon. On Wednesday morning, workers noticed that the material had been taken.

The 800 feet of eight-foot-tall chain link fencing was valued at $4,000.
