Hardie Davis provides proof positive that Augusta does not need a mayor. If not for the charter his position would be eliminated and the administrator could cut ribbons. As it is, the mayor’s position should be a minimum wage job with no secretary or other assistance and he can check out a vehicle, when needed, from the motor pool. Augusta hardly needs Davis.
Draining the swamp involves dealing with entrenched politicians like on “House of Cards.” They have power, and money from lobbies, that pay them for favors. They are not working in the best interest of the people; they are lining their own pockets.
Reality, like Hillary Clinton, operated under the same delusional concept that protocols and rules concerning handling of classified documents did not apply to her.
