Georgia Power has restored power to nearly 1 million customers since Hurricane Irma, but a few people remain without power in the Augusta area.
As of 7:30 p.m., in Richmond County, less than five customers remain without power in three outages. Columbia County has less than five customers affected by four outages.
Jefferson County has less than five customers waiting on one outage to be resolved.
According to a news release, more than 8,000 workers have restored power to 990,000 Georgia Power customers since Hurricane Irma arrived on Monday. Statewide, 4,757 customers remain without power due to 278 outages.
Jefferson Energy Cooperative, SCE&G and Aiken Electric Cooperative report all storm-related outages have been resolved.
