Man hospitalized after stabbing on East Telfair Street

A man has been hospitalized after being stabbed in the 200 block of East Telfair Street on Tuesday night.

Ronnie Ross, 28, was taken to AU Medical Center at 11 p.m. for non-life threatening injuries after he was stabbed at a 201 East Telfair St., residence.

Jennifer Maloyd, 29, was arrested by sheriff’s deputies in connection to the stabbing, a news release from the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office states.

Maloyd and Ross were in a domestic dispute when the stabbing occurred, according to the news release.

Maloyd, who is being held at Charles B. Webster Detention Center, is charged with aggravated assault and possession of a firearm or knife during the commission of a crime.
