An Aiken man was arrested Tuesday by South Carolina Department of Revenue investigators and charged with four counts of tax evasion.
Donald Nothdurf is accused of evading more than $17,000 in taxes owed to the state of South Carolina.
For tax years 2012 through 2015, Nothdurf filed fraudulent W-2 forms claiming no income on South Carolina income tax returns even though he earned approximately $312,365, according to a news release from the department.
If convicted, Nothdurf faces up to five years in prison and/or fines up to $10,000 per charge. He was being held Tuesday at the Aiken County Detention Center.
