This is a rant to South Carolina Department of Natural Resources. What is this world coming to when an animal lover gets chastised and fined for saving the life and bonding with one of God’s magnificent creatures?
Sylvia Cooper’s Sunday metro column City Ink perfectly sums up the total and absolute dysfunction of Augusta-Richmond County government. The Chronicle could just rerun this article weekly rather than have staffers covering local government; it never changes. From suspicion over lingering vestiges of racism, which are perceived by the black majority; to the inane professions of Grady “Good Old Boy” Smith; to Marion Williams’ mercenary-based constituent service; to Hardie Davis, who confuses the mayor’s office with a really meaningful and responsible job and whose office staffing plan is consistent with his confusion.
President Trump is in Poland insulting the American media, questioning U.S. intelligence agencies and equivocating on Russia’s role in interfering with our election. Can anyone imagine Fox News’ reaction if Barack Obama were doing this? Or Hillary Clinton?
Selective outrage by the liberal media is obvious to the informed listeners.
At various times, Presidents Bush and Obama had contentious relationships with the media; however, they never referred to them as “fake.” Every problem of this president is self-inflicted.
Calls to impeach Trump are wishful liberal thinking.
Gag, retch. What’s that sound? Why, that would be Hillary Clinton and those electoral votes she didn’t receive stuck in her craw.
Republicans, would you buy a life insurance policy from someone with the same character traits as Trump? How about letting him date your daughter? If no, why in the world do you still support him? Character matters!
I’m glad no one has much to complain about in the local area, but only with national politics. It shows we are ahead of the game after all and verify former Mayor Deke Copenhaver’s optimism for our community.
