Patrons will be able to return to docks at the Pointes West Army Resort at Thurmond Lake after a severe storm struck the area in April.
Officials stated in a news release that patrons have been informed boats will be welcome at docks B and C beginning Saturday.
Patrons will not be charged for July because of “the inconvenience that was experienced by those patrons,” the release stated. The marina ramps will alsoreopen.
The release stated that the resort is in the contracting phase to restore Dock A and the fuel point where the most damage occurred.
According to previous reports, the storm damaged more than 50 boats of the 88 docked at the resort’s marina and caused a fuel leak that required a cleanup process.
