Bones that appear to be from a human were found at a Walton Way substation Tuesday..

A Georgia Power subcontractor discovered the bones while using a water jet to cut a trench at the substation in the 700 block of Walton Way just before 1:30 p.m., according to a Richmond County Sheriff’s Office news release. The bones were found more than 20 inches underground.
