Motorized wheelchair stolen from Augusta VA

A man who traveled from Hinesville to attend a meeting at the Charlie Norwood VA Medical Center reported his motorized wheelchair stolen from his vehicle.

According to a Richmond County Sheriff’s Office case report, the man was visiting Augusta to attend a meeting at the medical center. When he arrived, the wheelchair was secured to the lift on his vehicle.

After the meeting, the victim traveled to the Baymont Inn & Suites at 2905 Riverwest Drive, where he discovered the wheelchair was missing.

According to the report, the motorized wheelchair was valued at $4,000.
