Soledad O’Brien, anchor of CNN’s morning news program Starting Point, will be the keynote speaker at Georgia Health Sciences University’s Diversity Summit, according to a release.
The summit will start at 8:30 a.m. on Sept. 14 at the Salvation Army’s Kroc Center.
The event will conclude with dinner and a keynote address at 6 p.m. O’Brien will speak on the topic “Diversity: On TV, Behind the Scenes and In Our Lives.”
Now in its second year, the Diversity Summit is focused on increasing partnerships and inclusion in the community. Presenters will include Dr. Waded Cruzado, president of Montana State University, and Dr. Beheruz Sethna, president of the University of West Georgia.
