Rants & Raves

TO THE PERSON who found my brother’s wallet at Walmart in North Augusta. I hope on Christmas Day your heart weighs heavy knowing you stole his grandkid’s Christmas Day.

There was close to $1,000 in his wallet.

If only you had done the right thing, you both could enjoy Christmas Day. My brother would have rewarded you with a couple of hundred dollars. But instead, his grandson will never forget this trip to Walmart.

MY WIFE AND I went to do a little shopping in North Augusta and had lunch at the Firehouse Sub restaurant. When we left, my wife stumbled on the curb outside and fell. I would like to express my deepest gratitude to the nice lady who came by to help, and also the two fine young men who assisted me. Their sincerity and desire to help made our day.

Yes, times like this we sometimes don’t get the names of such nice people but you know who you are and we are here to wish you and yours the best of this and every holiday season. She broke her wrist and her feelings were hurt, but she will be fine. Folks like you will not be forgotten. Thank you.

WHILE OCCUPY WALL Street was a silly idea supported by the communistic members of the current regime, Occupy Congress is a great idea, and next November we get to send conservatives to take over the offices of those who support the socialistic leanings of the majority of Democrats in D.C.

BIG RAVE FOR MCG. Thanks for all you’ve done for our son. The doctors, the nurses, the surgeons are the greatest. Please let them have a good Christmas this year.

THANKS TO THE lady behind me who paid for my groceries at the Publix in Evans. She really knew how to help me. Thank you.

A BIG RAVE TO all the people who donate money to animals in need. God bless you, and I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas.

TO SAVE MONEY for the post office, one thing they should do is cut out the mail delivered to homes on Saturday. Those bills can wait for one more day.

A big rave to the Augusta

A big rave to the Augusta West Plaza for the new construction.. Raceway, WJBF/NBC Augusta, Kids Party Center, and now the renovation of the largest space in the plaza...

The Regal Village theatre at the Augusta West Plaza is finally coming back to life.. No word if the plans include a new movie theatre yet.. The Village at Riverwatch had the first Starplex Cinema in the state before the recession halted the construction back in 2008.. The VAR will probably attract another movie theatre in the future.. Do you think a movie theatre at the Augusta West Plaza could survive? They're building several new homes off Belair rd, Jimmie Dyess, Gordon Hwy(btw Jimmie Dyess-Grovetown), and new condos off Augusta West Pkwy which could help support the theatre...

Morton Construction; Centro NP Aug West Plaza LLC, 1323 Augusta West Parkway, Augusta, renovations, value unavailable

He said Webster was the third

He said Webster was the third Glenn Hills student killed in five months, and one more young black man to add to the statistics. Months before, students Naquan Henderson and Anthony Washington were killed in shootings.

“I need y’all to go back in the streets and talk to each other,” Frazier said. “If y’all don’t get involved in stopping it, it’s not going to stop.”

OR IT'S NOT GOING TO STOP..

Seenit, I just want to wish

Seenit, I just want to wish you a very Merry Christmas. I have another good book for you- "Unbroken", by Laura Hillenbrand. It's the true story of Louie Zamperini, an Olympic athlete who was captured by the Japanese in WWII. It's truly an incredible book.

I prefer to look at the AC and those of us who comment here as Willie Nelson like Outlaws. You know good ole boys and gals, some liberals with long hair and earrings, all sitting around a cheap beer joint making more sense than the NY Times and getting a little high while we do it.

heheh....YEP that sounds like us....Outlaws making more sense than the NY Times...& getting a little high. :)

Good morning to my

Good morning to my conservative, liberal and middle of the road friends who are the intelligentsia of Augusta. Be careful, don't let them know about you or the black sedans will come get you at night. Go along with the crowd publicly when they chant silly things. Don't let them know you can read. Heck, don't even let them know you speak English. Paranoia can be a good thing fighting the establishment whether it's government or the cabal.

I was going to say why does

I was going to say why does everyone lose thier wallet at Wal-Mart but this is such a sad story.
It breaks my heart that this man lost that much cash. And to the dishonest person who found it and decided to keep it. Wait until the Karma catches up with you. You ain't gonna like it at all!
