Four University of South Carolina Aiken students have been named Magellan Scholars for the upcoming spring semester.

Junior biology majors Matthew Baker and Priscilla Simon; junior business administration major Tomas Greizinger; and senior psychology major Nicole Streeb received the honor.

The Magellan Scholar program funds costs for students to conduct research and pairs each undergraduate student with a professor, who oversees the student’s research efforts. Students from across the entire USC system are eligible to compete for the scholarships.
