Steel tubing, reels and plates worth more than $11,000 and a $3,500 generator were stolen from Highliter Cable Co. in the 3300 block of Beaver Drive off Marks Church Road, according to a Richmond County sheriff's report.
On Monday morning, an employee noticed the items missing, including reels measuring 6 feet by 4 feet and 4-by-2-feet steel plates.
The employee said the burglar accessed the rear of the property from an adjacent business sometime after Aug. 20, the report states.
Track marks leading from the property and a hand truck were found at the scene.
