Author to discuss dying small towns at Warrenton dinner

Sandersville, Ga., historian and author William Rawlings will present “The Death of Small Town Georgia,” at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, May 25, at the Warrenton Cultural Center on Gibson Street in Warrenton.

Rawlings, who is writing a book on the topic, will share observations on the decline of many small towns, including Warrenton, as part of an effort to stimulate discussions about reversing those trends.
