New members wanted for Savannah River Site advisory board



The Savannah River Site Citizens Advisory Board is accepting applications for panel members to serve during its 2015-2017 term.

Georgia and South Carolina residents are eligible to apply, according to a news release. No special training, extensive knowledge of SRS or academic degrees are required.

The SRS CAB gives advice and recommendations on environmental management and cleanup activities to the Department of Energy. U.S. federal government employees are not eligible to serve on the panel.
