THE MAN WHO OWNED California Chrome knew darn well that the other horses had not raced as much as his horse. The boohooing was embarrassing. He needs to race the horse in another state and stop showing off.
THIS IS THE SIXTH time they have eliminated the broadcast worship at 11 o’clock on television station WAGT (Channel 26) of Trinity on the Hill United Methodist Church. One hour should not make that much difference.
I AM PLEADING WITH the South Carolina Highway Patrol to do something about the speeding in the school zone in the 200 block of Anthony Drive in Warrenville.
I REALLY LIKED THE hard-hitting questions in Diane Sawyer’s interview of Hillary Clinton: “Why do you care so much about regular Americans, and is it possible you care too much?”
I WAS A SPECIAL Forces staff sergeant four years in Vietnam. Bergdahl walked away and good soldiers died trying to rescue him. He should be court-martialed, put in front of a firing squad and shot for desertion. Way to go, Obama. You should have left him there.
TO THE RANTER who berated people for not knowing that Okinawa was the largest seaborne invasion in history, that distinction belongs to the beaches of Normandy instead.

ON THE RELEASE of Sgt. Bergdahl, President Obama said: “We do not leave our men or women behind.” What happened to Dr. Shakil Afridi, who collected the DNA that identified Osama bin Laden and found bin Laden in Pakistan? He is facing 33 years in a Pakistani prison for helping the CIA finger bin Laden. Why is he left behind? Wasn’t his service to America and the world honorable enough?
IF IT WERE Hillary Clinton’s family member who was killed in Benghazi, I bet it would matter then.
PLEASE TELL ME that we will be issued only one phone directory this year combining residential and business and that it will contain all home numbers, not only AT&T customers.
