Georgia Tech will investigate e-mail
ATLANTA — Georgia Tech is investigating reports that a fraternity member wrote an e-mail with instructions for “luring rapebait” at parties with the help of alcohol. The e-mail has been widely circulated on Internet sites.
Georgia Tech’s Office
of Student Integrity is looking into the matter, the school said in a statement to The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
“Phi Kappa Tau’s national office, as well as Tech’s student-led Interfraternity Council, are also reviewing the matter to determine whether to take any independent action,” the statement said.
The Phi Kappa Tau national office in Oxford, Ohio did not respond to the newspaper’s requests for additional information on Monday. A representative of the national organization did not immediately return a call from The Associated Press on Tuesday.

Teen has surgery after dog attack
ATLANTA — The father of an Atlanta high school student attacked by dogs on his school campus says his son is undergoing reconstructive surgery to repair gashes to his face.
Azarius Lowe, 16, is in so much pain that he had to be sedated at Grady Memorial Hospital, his father Arthur Steverson told WSB-TV.
The student was bitten by dogs on a campus ball field Monday afternoon at The New Schools at Carver, Atlanta Public Schools officials said.
Fulton County Animal Control officials say two rottweilers attacked the boy. The attack prompted a brief lockdown of the school.
