A ROAD CAVES IN in Columbia County and it gets national attention. Back in February, Hephzibah-Keysville Road caved in at the Richmond-Burke county line, and it still hasn’t been repaired. Yes, they do come and put crush and run down daily, but you could have it fixed by now. We pay taxes in the country, too, so fix our road!
RICHARD PEARRE JR. does not seem to understand the seriousness of his actions. He is an active carrier of TB, which is an airborne infectious disease which can be spread to others rather quickly unless he takes precautions. He now needs to act responsibly.
WITH SO MANY OBAMA scandals to keep up with, I am hopeful Apple will develop an app for my
iPhone to organize all info from all these scandals. It’s information overload at this point.
EVERYONE NEEDS to take a ride to the landfill at Deans Bridge Road, look at the great job that’s been done with the new electric gate and the beautiful landscaping. Then drive a mile into the compound to see the new office complex. Outstanding. This is just the mechanics shop; the real eye-opener will be when the new office complex is built. How did all this happen? Is all this necessary when we can’t get twice-a-week pickup? Ask Mark Johnson why was the cheaper cans purchased at the same price as the older, sturdy cans, which would at least keep a wheel on! Go ahead, Augusta, pay your dues and get all this dumped on you! The landfill got their raises!
MORE THAN HALF of Americans think government should break into our e-mails. We have become so stupid that soon we won’t be free.
OBAMA’S FEDERAL government is probably – right now – reading what I’m about to send to Rants & Raves. What would George Washington say about that?
WE NOW SEE CLEARLY that Orwell missed the date by 29 years.
IT IS A SHAME YOU can’t walk in Harlem without being talked about. People sit on the project porches being nosy, talking everybody’s business. Why don’t they sweep around their own door and leave other people alone?
RANT TO THE new garbage package. Same services but one-day-a-week pickup with no reduction in price. What a sneaky way to raise rates, buy new trucks and lay off people.
