THE AUGUSTA Chronicle has been having much better success in endorsing onerous, burdensome tax hike bills than in endorsing political candidates.

NOT SURE HOW racism plays into being president of the United States of America, but if you are given the title then you are the person in responsible charge. You get the privilege of taking the heat for the good and the bad things that happen in the USA.

DURING THE RECENT local campaign, we learned that Mr. Fennoy is a retired health educator. I am not familiar with this term and would like to know what it really means.

THE PEOPLE THAT still blame Bush for the mess our economy is in have forgotten that in the last two years of his presidency he had a Democratic Congress and couldn’t do anything, while Obama also had a Democratic Congress for two years at the beginning of his presidency and didn’t do anything. He is determined to destroy our great country that I fought for in 1943 until 1946.

AZZIZ HAS WASTED far more on dinners and parties than he will save by laying off those people.

THE ARGYLE SWEATER is about the worst comic that I have ever read. Half the time it makes no sense.

BIG RAVE FOR THE Willie Nelson concert. He and his family put on an outstanding show. He is a very personable man; signed autographs after the show and I was the lucky one to kiss him on the cheek and shake his hand. Keep the shows coming. We love you, Willie!

A RANT IS IN ORDER for the PGA on the long putter. I don’t hear complaints about the new, bigger, better clubs, or balls, etc., being made to assist in playing better golf. How about the GPS handheld yardage equipment that is used prior to playing in a tournament? They take out the guessing of yardage. The markers in the fairways was what was used before. How about the little handbooks with all the information in it and a drawing of the fairways and greens. That’s not fair when it comes to playing golf. Making your own by walking out the course is acceptable. I was just saying …
