Disabled mom wants to provide a nice Christmas for her children

A disabled Augusta mom would like to provide a nice Christmas for her children.

“Last year I wasn’t able to buy my boys anything,” she writes. “My oldest is a senior in high school. He has been looking for a job, but they tell him they are looking for someone who could work mornings or flex hours, and he’s in school.

“My children never complain about anything, and I would like for something to come their way this holiday – big or small. Thank you.”

The Augusta Chronicle Empty Stocking Fund has helped people such as this for 81 years. Last year, the charity raised more than $115,000 that helped children and families across the region.
