Singer Darius Rucker will return to Augusta for the 10th annual Drive for Show, Rock Fore! Dough concert.
Country artists Randy Houser and Will Hoge also will play the concert April 8 during Masters Week. Local musician Daniel Johnson will open the show at Lady Antebellum Pavilion in Evans Towne Center Park.
Tickets cost $25 in advance and $35 at the gate. They go on sale 10 a.m. Saturday at www.rockforedough.com. They will be sold at The First Tee of Augusta and all area Kroger stores in coming weeks.
Rucker, who was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Country Solo Performance for his No. 1 hit Wagon Wheel, played the inaugural Rock Fore! Dough show. Several shows on in his upcoming tour have sold out for the former Hootie & The Blowfish frontman.
Houser also topped the charts with his No. 1 hits How Country Feels and Runnin’ Outta Moonlight. Hoge, a Nashville songwriter, wrote the No. 1 song Even If It Breaks Your Heart for the Eli Young Band.
The proceeds from the concert support The First Tee of Augusta. Over the past nine years, the concerts have raised nearly $600,000.
Last year, the concert moved to Columbia County from its home at the First Tee facility on Damascus Road in Augusta.
