Local college students will be competing during the Westobou Festival on Friday to develop mobile Web sites for Augusta.
The event, known as Hackathon, is being held by Rural Sourcing Inc. and the City of Augusta.
People may visit the Jessye Norman Amphitheater between 2-7 p.m. to watch the competition.
The goal of the event is to create a mobile Web site for the city that allows users to view key historical points of interest around Augusta.
Winners will receive various prizes including a paid internship with the City of Augusta to complete the mobile Web site.
