Members of the Augusta-Aiken Audubon Society use binoculars and telescopes to spot birds at the Silver Bluff Audubon Sanctuary in Jackson during a Saturday morning bird-watching outing.
The group saw a bald eagle near the sanctuary. Augusta-Aiken Audubon's field trips are free and open to all chapter members and the public. The next outing is scheduled for March 3 from 9 a.m. to noon at North Augusta Brick Ponds Park. Find more information about the local Audobon society online at augustaaikenaudubon.org.
