Empty Stocking: Unemployed mother needs help this Christmas

WHO’S IN NEED

An Augusta woman would like some help bringing Christmas to her three sons this year.

“My job closed down and I haven’t been able to find anything at this time,” she writes. “If I don’t get help my children will be without. If you could help my kids have some Christmas, I would really appreciate it. It will be a great blessing.”

The Augusta Chronicle Empty Stocking Fund has helped people such as this for 83 years. Last year, the charity raised more than $93,000 that helped children and families across the region.

Donations are tax-deductible.
