The couple were robbed and beaten with metal bats or pipes while sitting on a bench on Riverwalk around 11 p.m. Friday.

The forum will be held at 8 a.m. Wednesday at the Karen Gordon Stage, located behind the levee breach past the Riverwalk fountain.

Public officials, business owners, residential occupants and anyone else interested in downtown are urged to attend.
