A pizza delivery man said he was robbed of $70 worth of food at an apartment complex.
The 21-year-old Pizza Hut employee called police about 11 p.m. Monday after a man took off with two pizzas and 36 wings. According to a Richmond County sheriff’s incident report, he went to an apartment on Amsterdam Drive to deliver the food but was told by the resident that he had the wrong address. While walking back to his vehicle, a man in a hooded sweatshirt approached, pointed from his sweatshirt pocket as if he had a gun, and demanded he put the food on the ground.
After the delivery man got in his vehicle to leave, he said the robber grabbed the food and ran away.
