3 indicted in Augusta shooting

Three men have been indicted on charges in connection with an Augusta shooting that left three other men wounded.

A Richmond County grand jury Tuesday indicted Reginald A. Forrest, 27, Carl A. Nipper, 26, and Fredrick M. Nelson Jr., 21, on five counts of aggravated assault and five counts of possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.

According to the indictment, on April 16 on Brown Street, Marcel Hankins, Michael Scott and Demarcus Briscoe were wounded and two other men were shot at.
