6 arrested after Aiken drug raid

Six people were arrested after an Aiken drug raid Wednesday night.

According to a statement released by the Aiken Department of Public Safety, its investigators along with Aiken County Sheriff’s Office and ATF Rage Unit conducted a search warrant at 549 Chesterfield Street NW.

Kenneth Islar, 27, and Mary Salley, 50, were charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of crack cocaine. Linda Faye Thornton, 57; Bobby Issac, 48; and David Williams, 49, were charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. Dushawn Merritt, 33, was charged with possession of crack cocaine.
