Three Aiken residents were arrested on drug charges after month-long investigation

 

Three Aiken residents were arrested on drug-related charges Friday after a monthlong investigation, the Ai­ken County Sheriff’s Office says.

James Ramond Cave, 37; Rebecca Sapp, 19; and Shaniqua Nicole Powell, 22, were arrested after a search of a home on Pinecrest Ave­nue. Byron Keith Miller, 31, is still being sought, according the police statement.

The search turned up cocaine, marijuana and two firearms, police said. Two children were present during the search and were released to family members, according to the statement.

Charges brought in the case involve marijuana and cocaine, and all three are charged with distribution or intent to distribute within a half-mile of a school. Sapp and Powell also face charges of unlawful conduct toward a child.
