$9 million bond for Illinois suspect held here

EAST ST. LOUIS, Ill. — The second man accused in a September shooting death outside an East St. Louis lounge is in custody in Augusta.

The Belleville News-Democrat reports that 42-year-old Torcus Boone Sr. was arrested Tuesday in Richmond County. He’s jailed there on $9 million bond, pending his extradition to Illinois.

Prosecutors in St. Clair County have charged Boone and 36-year-old Dameon Floore with first-degree murder in the Sept. 1 killing of 20-year-old Kenneth Richards outside Denese’s Place.
