Aiken County shooting suspect surrenders to authorities in murder case

An Aiken County shooting suspect wanted on five counts of attempted murder and one court of kidnapping surrendered to authorities Tuesday.

Aiken County sheriff’s investigators said Devron Duncan, 20, has been on the run since the June 24 shooting at 340 Aiken Road.

According to a news release, Duncan fired two shots at his girlfriend and her children while they sat in her vehicle. He fired another shot as she ran to her apartment.

She also suffered injuries from a physical assault by Duncan, the release stated.
