Four teens were arrested Tuesday in connection with gang-related activities.
Jordan Jamal Lovett, 18; Michael Di’Quez Scott, 17; Nicholas Lockhart, 17; and Marquise Deion Lewis, 17; were booked into the Augusta-Richmond County jail on charges of reckless conduct and unlawful street gang activity, booking records show.
The arrests were related to a June 29 incident, when Richmond County sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to the 3300 block of Thames Place to investigate reports that shots had been fired at a party. When deputies arrived at the house, a group of people ran inside.
Deputies entered the house and asked who had been shooting, according to a Sheriff’s Office report. The homeowner, Demonia Jones, 39, told the officers they needed a warrant.
Jones was arrested on a disorderly conduct charge. The party-goers were told to leave the house.
A neighbor later found a 9mm shell casing in the 3300 block of Thames Place.
